4 Retro Features of the Ford Bronco and Bronco Sport Heritage Editions Post

The Bronco name brings about thoughts of history and nostalgia. When the brand was revived for the 2021 model year, the styling of both the Bronco and Bronco Sport became more modern. For the 2023 model year, the Ford Bronco and Bronco Sport are strengthening their visual links to the first-gen Bronco with an all-new appearance package—the Heritage Edition.

Ford is offering two Heritage Editions per Bronco, the Bronco Heritage Edition, and the even better-equipped Heritage Limited Edition. Both feature a fun throwback appearance that’s distinctive and recognizable, but they also come standard with aggressive GOAT (Goes Over Any Terrain) tires. Read on to get to know all about the Heritage Edition’s unique retro features.

1. All-Terrain Tires

Every Bronco and Bronco Sport equipped with a Heritage Edition package comes standard with an impressive set of tires. On the 1.5-liter Bronco Sport Heritage, you get 17-inch Continental All-Terrains. The 2.0-liter Bronco Sport Heritage gets Falken Wildpeak All-Terrains. Big Broncos are equipped with the Sasquatch package standard. They get an even bigger set of tires, coming standard with Goodyear Territory tires with a massive 35-inch diameter.

2. Retro Color Schemes

Ford has introduced fun, throwback colors for both the Heritage and Heritage Limited editions. The Bronco Heritage palette includes Race Red (close to the first-gen Rangoon Red), Black, Cactus Gray, Carbonized Gray, and Azure Gray. The Heritage Limited Edition boasts even more distinctive colors, like Robin’s Egg Blue, Yellowstone, and Peak Blue. Each Heritage Edition Bronco will have an Oxford White roof as an exciting contrast.

3. Unique Exterior Features

It’s not just the paint job that sets all Heritage Edition Broncos apart from the rest. There are several interesting exterior touches that add to the overall retro look of this special package. You get larger, squared-off fender flares that give the Bronco a two-inch wider track that harkens back to the first generation, as well as a powder-coated steel bumper with integrated fog lamps.

4. Interior Accents

In all Bronco and Bronco Sport Heritage Editions, interior touches harken back to first-gen models. The Bronco Heritage Edition features cloth seats, an Oxford White instrument panel, unique floor liners, and center console badging. The upgraded Heritage Limited Edition is outfitted with leather-trimmed and vinyl plaid seats, contrasting beautifully with Race Red accent stitching and a unique Heritage Edition console badge.
