The Heritage Edition’s Two-Toned Paint Scheme
Ford’s celebrating the 75th anniversary of the F-150 with the special-edition Heritage package. The automaker has based this package on the “everyman’s” F-150, and it’s available on the second-from-the-bottom XLT trim. Why is this special edition generating so much buzz? The answer’s simple—it’s because of its unusual, vintage-inspired multi-color paint jobs.
The 2023 F-150 Heritage Edition features a multi-tone paint job that’s reminiscent of those you’d find on classic pickups. Models from the 1970s and 1980s often featured a striking body color broken up by white or a contrasting color to separate the upper and lower halves. The Heritage Edition reverses this paint scheme, featuring the colorful part of the paint job in the center area, with contrasting, darker hues on the roof, roof pillars, bumpers, and lower portions of the doors.
Depending on the primary body color you choose, the darker sections come in either Agate Black or Carbonized Gray. Here are the color choices available for Heritage Edition buyers:
