Ford’s been working hard updating all its truck products, and the most recent revamp includes the Blue Oval’s hardest workers—the Super Duty line. The all-new Super Duty lineup makes it easier to work the toughest jobs. They’re fully capable of handling any line of duty that customers and their fleets need to tackle. Here’s what’s new for the 2023 Ford Super Duty lineup.
Updated Exteriors
Ford’s given all Super Duty trucks a brand-new face. The lineup includes seven unique grille designs, depending on the trim level and appearance package you choose. Every truck’s C-shaped lighting elements can be fitted with striking LED headlights, and special design packages include distinctive trim, rim, and paint combinations. For example, the XL Off-Road package available on the F-259 and F-350 includes skid plates, 33-inch all-terrain tires, and an electronic locking rear differential.
Upgraded Powertrain
Every truck in the all-new Super Duty lineup is built Ford tough, with an impressive powertrain to prove it. The standard engine on the Super Duty is a 6.8-liter V-8 that pairs well with the 10-speed automatic transmission. The impressive Power Stroke diesel V-8 is still available for the new lineup, available with updated tuning, upgraded exhaust manifolds, and a unique turbocharger. All told, the enhancements make the Super Duty line the most powerful diesel trucks in their class.
Tons of Tech-Focused Features
You’ll find a variety of new tech in every 2023 Super Duty truck. Now, the entire lineup is available with a 5G wireless connection, helping the easy-to-use infotainment system perform quicker. There’s also an available 2.0-kW onboard generator, called ProPower Onboard, that brings a new level of convenience anywhere from the job site to outdoor events. Ford’s also made a head-up display available for the first time, as well as a full suite of driver-assist features like adaptive cruise control and lane-centering assist.
Towing Made Easy
High-tech assists make jobs like hauling and towing easier. Every new Ford Super Duty is well-equipped to pull massive loads with the introduction of onboard scales. Not only can you easily get a reading of your estimated cargo weight, but you can also get a close look at how to evenly distribute trailer tongue weight.
There’s also a special navigation feature that provides drivers with the best routes to accommodate a trailer’s weight and dimensions. With blind-spot monitoring and a 360-degree camera system specifically designed for trailers, towing anything is a breeze in your new Super Duty.
