The 2021 Ford Escape, redesigned just last year, now offers even more space, technology, and power than ever before. In addition to a plethora of standard features, the Ford Escape also introduces the new SE Sport Appearance Package, SEL Stealth AWD Package, and the Escape Titanium Elite Package. Starting at $26,130, the 10 models and wide range of powertrains to choose from ensure you’ll find the Escape just for you.

Performance

The 2021 Escape offers a four-engine lineup. Starting with 1.5L EcoBoost®, the eight-speed automatic transmission comes with Start-Stop technology to help lower fuel consumption and emissions when your SUV comes to a stop. The 2.0L EcoBoost®, when paired with the Trailer Tow Package, has a maximum towing capacity of 3,500lbs. Ford also offers two Escape hybrids. The Plug-In Hybrid fully charges in about 3.5 hours with the 240-volt Level 2 charger. The Selectable Drive Modes control stability in conditions like deep snow or sand. And the AWD Disconnect can disable the rear driveline when the system detects it’s not needed.

Interior & Exterior Design

The new gear shift is a sleek rotary dial, opening up space on the center console for enhanced front-row comfort. The 60/40 split-fold flat seats, along with the sliding feature, give you best-in-class second-row leg room. Or you can slide the seats forward to maximize rear cargo space. The available panoramic Vista Roof® features a sizable forward panel can either tilt up or open fully, as well as a fixed rear skylight. New for 2021 is the available Titanium Elite Package with 19-inch Luster Nickel-painted aluminum wheels, distinctive five-bar grille with chrome surround, silver front and rear skid plates, and black roof-rack side rails.

Safety & Driver Assistance

Earning a five-star safety rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and a Top Safety Pick award from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety, the Ford Co-Pilot 360™ suite of safety features comes standard on all Escapes. Features included are forward-collision warning with automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning with lane-keeping assist, and blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert. Also included is adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go traffic, rearview camera, and auto high beam headlights. Available features include active parking assist as well as evasive steering assist.

Infotainment and Connectivity

The user-friendly SYNC® 3 AppLink, Amazon’s cloud-based voice service, gives hands-free access to Voice Navigation, Traffic Information, Amazon Prime shopping, and Smart Home devices. Alexa also interacts with Google, Apple, and Microsoft calendars. The available 10-speaker B&O Sound System by Bang & Olufsen (standard on Titanium) offers a dynamic, immersive listening experience for the whole SUV. The FordPass™ Connect allows for a 4G LTE in-vehicle Wi-Fi hotspot. Up to 10 devices can connect at once with access up to 50 feet outside the vehicle. Plus, Waze gives you real-time alerts about accidents, road hazards, and traffic jams.

Easy Access

With the available 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, you’ll easily configure the look and function of your driving information. Stay powered on the go with the available Wireless Charging Pad located in the center console. The available Active Park Assist 2.0 with Reverse Parking Aid and Front Parking Aid automatically parallel or perpendicular parks. Also available is the hands-free foot-activated liftgate that allows adjustment to the liftgate height.
