The 2023 Ford F-150 Raptor R is the top-end truck you’ve been waiting for, especially if you’re looking for plenty of power. Ford’s 5.2-liter supercharged “Predator” V8 engine delivers an impressive 700 horsepower and 640 lb.-ft of torque. It’s the same engine the automaker used for the Mustang Shelby GT500, but Ford’s refined it even further, recalibrating it for off-road use.

The “power dome” on the hood sits one inch higher than on standard Raptors. The truck sits on a massive set of 37-inch off-road tires. It also has a high stance, with 13.1 inches of ground clearance with a rear wheel travel of 14.1 inches. The design gives the Raptor R the advantage over other off-road trucks, since the big tires and higher stance provide the perfect approach and departure angles for off-roading.
