The Ford Mustang Mach E has already set the EV world on fire with its exciting driving experience, exceptional handling, and long-range capabilities. With the 2022 Ford Mustang Mach E and Mach E GT coming our way, we can only wonder what’s in store next.
Every automaker is trying to find ways to stay ahead of their competition in the EV market, and Ford has put them all on notice once again. Today, the Ford specialists at Essential Ford of Stuart wanted to highlight some of the awesome changes and additions that are all-new on the 2022 Ford Mustang Mach E and Mach E GT models.

Well, the Mustang Mach E GT for starters! Ford has created one of the quickest Mustangs ever with the addition of the Mach E GT to its lineup. But, of course, the fastest ever is the Shelby GT500.
Highlights of the Mach E and Mach E GT
Dual Motor Fun
The dual-motor all-wheel-drive Mach E GT has an insane 480-horsepower and goes from 0 to 60 mph in 3.8 seconds! You also have three drive modes to choose from that are designed to customize the Mach E’s driving performance. These include the Whisper, Engage, and Unbridled, which essentially translate to comfort, normal, and sport mode and impact the regenerative braking, throttle response, engine sound, and the adaptive suspension settings for the Performance Edition.
Longer Range
With the new Extended Range 88 kilowatt-hours battery pack, you can cruise around Stuart for 270 miles on a single charge on the GT AWD model. On Mach E, you’ll have a range of 312 miles on a single charge.
Suspension
The Performance Edition GT has added MagneRide adaptive dampers that enable the suspension to go from extremely firm to compliant and controlled with simply the press of a button.
Technology Upgrade
The most exciting new technology on the 2022 Mach E and Mach E GT is BlueCruise. This is Ford’s hands-free highway assist system that comes when you upgrade to the Co-Pilot 360 Active 2.0 package. When you spring for this innovative technology, you’ll find that BlueCruise was designed to handle steering, acceleration, and braking under certain conditions without your hands on the wheel. The requirement is that the onboard cameras confirm that your eyes continually stay on the road.
These are just a few of the most exciting upgrades to the 2022 Ford Mustang Mach E and the all-new Mustang Mach E GT models. It’s as if Ford thought the Mach E wasn’t exhilarating enough already. They had to go and up the game with the addition of BlueCruise. Combine that with the aggressive, muscle car-inspired beastliness of the GT and GT Performance Edition, making this EV the best performance-tuned EV in its class.
