The Ford Bronco Sport, the compact crossover SUV, was introduced alongside the all-new Bronco which both debuted for the 2021 model year. The First Edition is the fully-loaded model combining the best parts of all the Bronco Series.
What’s New for 2022
Pricing for the 2022 Ford Bronco Sport First Edition is expected to top out around $40,000. Some attractive upgrades include a navigation system, a power moonroof, and a beefed-up Bang & Olufsen audio system with 10 speakers including a subwoofer. Plus, details of many more features are expected to be released soon for the top-of-the-line Bronco Sport.
Maintaining Quality Design
Because the Bronco Sport was an all-new model for the 2021 model year, it’s expected to again offer the 2.7L EcoBoost® engine with 10-speed automatic transmission in a 2-door or 4-door option. In addition, you’ll still find SYNC® 4 with 12″ LCD Capacitive Touchscreen with Swipe Capability and Enhanced Voice Recognition, AppLink® with App Catalog, 911 Assist®, Wireless Apple Carplay™ and Android Auto™ Compatibility, SiriusXM® and FordPass Connect™.
Standard Handling
You can once again expect four-wheel disc brakes with the Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS), off road suspension, and electronic traction control. Additionally, you’ll find Advanced 4×4 with Twin-Clutch Rear Drive Unit, Reverse Sensing System, and the class-exclusive Trail Control™. The latter works just like cruise control, giving you the ability to set your speed when off-roading. And when you’re in Rock Crawl or Mud/Ruts mode, the available 180-degree camera with split view works as a spotter to help boost visibility.
